Oasis Graphic Co, a graphic production company specialising in the production and installation of graphics for exhibitions and events, environment branding, vehicle livery and retail and promotional markets, has taken delivery of a new Hewlett Packard Z6200 1524mm printer, a large format aqeuous ink printer with a formidable pedigree, improved print speed and greater colour accuracy over previous models and other comparable printers.
The HP Designjet Z6200 will be used to print onto paper, canvas and backlit films using an 8 ink system designed to create uniform gloss and reduce the appearance of bronzing, whilst still reproducing a wide colour gamut.
The Z6200 is one of the fastest printers in its class and joins Oasis' existing stable of two Canon aqueous ink printers, allowing Oasis to offer increased capacity and speed without compromising print quality or colour accuracy.
Simon Osborne, Oasis' managing director, was present at the installation of the new printer, "Each new investment in printer technology moves our business forward in terms of speed, efficiency and capacity, but they must be underpinned by sound business reasoning. One of our newest clients asked us if we could match the output from their previous large format print supplier, who used a Z6200 for their work. This proved to be the perfect opportunity to respond to a customer need and expand our capabilities simultaneously. It's a superb printer and we're certainly going to be working it very hard from the outset."
Oasis has a strong team of 20 plus experts with studio, print, finishing and admin departments that utilise the latest developments in digital print technology, finishing and installation techniques. Formed over 25 years ago, Oasis is based in a large farm unit in Cookham, Berkshire.
