AZPRO Group invests in HP Scitex FB7600 and HP Latex 3000 Printers to meet client demand

Arizona, USA-based AZPRO has installed an HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press and purchased an HP Latex 3000 Printer to meet growing client demand with faster turnaround times.

AZPRO specialises in vehicle wraps, fleet graphics and point-of-purchase (POP) displays. The company has enjoyed consistent growth since opening its doors in 2004, including a 35 percent increase in business this year alone. With a rising influx of project requests, workload volume began overflowing existing equipment capacity. The company invested in the new HP technology to better meet current client demand, helping complete jobs faster and at a higher quality than with previous equipment.

“We have seen remarkable, double-digit growth in recent years and the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press and HP Latex 3000 Printer will provide the high power and quality we need to turn up our production even further,” said Chris Prenovost, co-founder and owner, AZPRO. “On the second day the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press was running, a job came in that would have previously taken multiple days and printers. With the new HP press, it was finished before lunch.”

Installing its first HP digital printer in 2005, AZPRO’s portfolio also includes an HP Latex 850 Printer, two HP Latex 260 Printers (formerly HP Designjet L26500 Printers) and an HP Scitex FB700 Printer.

Since the installation of the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press, AZPRO has expanded its scope of work with current clients while bringing in new business.  The company recently took on a project for a national grocery chain to print posters for an employee performance programme. Using the new press, AZPRO printed 150 sheets in just two hours for 120 Arizona locations with installations beginning the next day. A job of this print volume would previously have taken multiple days for printing alone.

According to Chris Prenovost, the HP Latex 3000 Printer will also alleviate project back-up by absorbing high-volume jobs from other printers. With HP Latex quality now available at faster speeds, the company will largely look to this device to support its fleet graphics customer base.

“High-volume print providers are being pushed to produce jobs faster than ever, facing challenges to meet tight turnarounds without sacrificing quality,” said Jan Riecher, vice president and general manager, Americas Graphics Solutions Business, HP. “The speed and print quality of the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press and HP Latex 3000 Printer will allow AZPRO to retain and grow current clients while opening the door to new product offerings.”
