Arlon DPF 6000 series proves itself for William Smith customers

Product, Performance and Price â€" are making Arlon DPF 6000 Series cast graphic films a popular choice with William Smith’s customers for a variety of vehicle wrapping applications.

“We use Arlon DPF 6000 for both full and part wraps on a wide range of commercial vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, lorries and even motorbikes,” says DeSigns Signage Solutions’ Andy Sykes. “Following trials, after the product was recommended by William Smith, we chose DPF 6000 Series to replace the material we had previously been using. It prints well and our fitters are happy with the material. The price is also very favourable.”

Dexie Hartis, Manager at Radecal Signs, comments: “We use Arlon DPF 6000XRP for both full and part wraps on vehicles ranging from small Mini Coopers to double-decker buses. The costing was what initially attracted us to the product as we had been awarded a big contract which required a large volume of materials, so we were looking for best value.”

Arlon DPF 6000 is available in gloss, transparent and translucent finishes, while DPF 6000RP and DPF 6000XRP both come in gloss white. The films have been specifically designed for large format graphics and are ideal for fleet and vehicle graphics. They can be applied to flat, riveted, contoured and complex surfaces where good conformity is required.

“We chose Arlon DPF 6000 Series as the print quality was exceptional on the HP Latex L26500 printer, the overlaminate gives a rich gloss and the product is competitively priced,” explains Andy Gosling of Andean Signs. “We use it for full and part wraps, mainly for vehicles with soft curves, such as Vivaro’s, Renault Traffics and other light vans. We have also used in on our own Andean Signs vehicle. We’re very happy with the product and have had no issues.”

A special lay-flat liner and permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive make Arlon DPF 6000RP easy to apply and give excellent opacity. DPF 6000XRP features X-Scape air release adhesive, which ensures a bubble-free finish.

“It’s an excellent product, which we have been using for around two years now, and it outperforms other materials that we have tried. The XRP bubble-release adhesive makes it virtually impossible to crease or bubble, as the bubbles can be pushed out easily by hand,” adds Dexie Hartis.

Arlon DPF 6000 Series, which comes with up to seven years outdoor durability, is available ex-stock from William Smith as full, part or custom slit rolls and same day despatch is provided on full or part roll orders received up to 6.00pm
