swissQprint AG has announced it will be showcasing the versatility of its solutions at Fespa 2013 on stand E35S. The two printers on show will have different configurations to demonstrate the many and varied possibilities of these modular, precision-built machines. An all-new tandem function for non-stop printing and a reinforced roll to roll option to allow printing of flexible media up to 3.2m wide will be among the presentation highlights.
At base, all swissQprint inkjet systems are solidly-built flatbed printers with a reputation for quality right down to the details. At Fespa 2013, the company will be showcasing how that basic platform can be extended: there will be two machines on the stand, one configured for versatility, the other for roll to roll printing. This is the first time that the company is presenting a pair of machines simultaneously.
The Impala model has a variety of enhancements including a new tandem function that eliminates idle times by printing alternately on the front and back areas of the printing table. There are also nine colour channels, each separately configurable, along with other features.
swissQprint has also upped the mechanical strength of the roll to roll option for the Nyala 3.2 m wide machine, because robust construction is crucial to reliable, flawless printing of broad media. The Nyala at the exhibition will have print heads loaded with quadruple CMYK, for unprecedented printing speeds. The machine will also be equipped with a board option that features a sophisticated feed system for printing outsize formats (up to 3.2 x 4 m) in flatbed mode â" a truly compelling feature.
