Mimaki is the latest company to confirm it will not be participating at IPEX 2014. The company says it is 're-directing its trade show focus to FESPA' to target companies operating in the sign, large format and textile sectors.
In 2012, Mimaki launched a raft of innovative products and enjoyed significant success at tradeshows across Europe, spurring the company to establish a dedicated EMEA operation. Mimaki has decided to participate at FESPA so that it can continue to build on its momentum in Europe.
FESPA 2013Â â" which is being staged in London this year from June 25 to June 29 â" is an important exhibition for Mimaki, as itâs the largest trade show specifically tailored for the wide-format print industry â" one of the companyâs core markets. At the event Mimaki will be able to meet with delegates from the digital printing, screen printing, industrial and textile sectors.
Mimaki will also exhibit at FESPA 2014, which is being staged in Munich, Germany. By participating at an event that moves from country to country, Mimaki is able to meet face-to-face with customers and prospects operating in different local markets.
Mike Horsten, marketing manager of Mimaki EMEA comments, â2012 was a very big year for us in Europe. We launched lots of new products, attended lots of exhibitions, and were lucky enough to walk away with some industry awards. Having made such great strides in Europe, it makes more sense that we attend FESPA, where we can strengthen our relationships with our customers, partners and prospects in this key region. Weâre looking forward to show and see it as the ideal platform to share ideas with like-minded individuals, and engage with print professionals, brands and designers from across Europe.â
