Millharbour Digital presented with prize draw win - a brand new Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20

The winner of Large Format Review’s ‘Win a Roland’ prize draw has been presented with a brand new Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 printer/cutter.  Mick Woodward, production director of Millharbour Digital, attended an event at Roland DG’s Clevedon premises where he was presented with the printer - valued at £5,499 â€" by managing director, Jerry Davies.

Mick selected the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 with the CMYK plus white ink configuration.  The versatile, 20” wide integrated device prints full-colour plus metallic or white and contour cuts on a full spectrum of media.  It enables the production of everything from stickers, decals, labels, T-shirt transfers, POS and POP, photo prints, posters and small format signage through to eye-catching vehicle graphics.

Mick was also given a tour of Roland’s Creative Centre where Joe Wigzell, Roland Academy and Creative Centre Manager, showed him a selection of innovative applications produced using Roland’s range of printers, including the VersaSTUDIO BN-20.

On winning the new print and cut solution, Mick Woodward comments, “We are already a long-standing Roland customer â€" with both a SolJet Pro III XC-540 and a VersaArt RS-640 installed on-site at our Potters Bar premises - and we’re delighted to have won the competition.  We will be using the printer to proof some of our larger projects, as an overflow printer for very busy periods and much more.”

Abi Ricketts, Editor at Large Format Review, adds, “We were delighted to help host this ‘Win a Roland BN-20’ competition which was devised to encourage the use of social media.  At present, not all signage businesses are taking advantage of these channels of communication which enable them to engage in direct conversation with customers and suppliers alike.”

All potential winners had to do was visit the Large Format Review website and sign up for the weekly news bulletins.   Entrants could also increase their chance of winning by ‘liking’ Large Format Review on Facebook, following the publication on Twitter and joining the Large Format Review Linked In network  â€" thereby entering the draw a total of four times.
