Velmex launches ‘Win a Canon’ competition

Velmex, the distributor of high quality hardware, software and consumables to the wide format printing industry, has launched a prize draw offering entrants the chance to win a Canon imagePROGRAF iPF760 36-inch large format printer worth £2725 (RRP, including stand).

Ideal for CAD user applications, the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF760 builds on Canon's award winning line of 5-colour printers - designed to meet the speed and precision requirements of the technical document market - and includes a number of exciting new features including a new stacker basket and a password protected interface lock.

On the ethos behind the competition, Paul Whitelock, UK channel manager at Velmex, explains, “The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF760 is a fantastic CAD machine capable of outputting an exceptionally clear 24" x 36" drawing in approximately 30 seconds.  It is affordable, compact, easy to install and ideal for multiple CAD applications.  It would complement any print business that produces technical drawings.”

The newly designed stacker basket boosts the productivity and provides the capability to neatly stack up to twenty 24 x 36 inch plain paper prints. It can be configured to meet user requirements and enabled/disabled depending on user preference.

The new interface lock system provides an option for administrative control to determine who has access to the printer.  This feature allows the user to password protect the USB 2 and Ethernet connections and restrict access to these ports.
