Printers wanting to streamline workflows, save labour costs, reduce waste and increase productivity are invited to a series of continuous practical demonstrations being organised by Océ, a Canon Group company, in conjunction with ZÃND Plotting Systems at the cutting giantâs showroom at Springfield Business Park, St Albans, Hertfordshire, on 16th and 17th October 2012.
Star billing will be given to systems from the Océ Arizona Series, the worldâs No. 1 selling flatbed series, an Océ ColorWave 650 poster printer, and ZÃND digital cutters.
Océ and ZÃND will show how these systems can print and cut virtually everything. From rigid substrates up to two inches thick to flexible roll-mounted vinyls, an Océ Arizona series printer will deliver the same top quality results. Every model uses UV curable inks and Océ VariaDot⢠technology to deliver near-photographic image quality. Each offers a roll media option for printing onto flexible materials and white ink. And the ZÃND digital cutters can finish nearly anything printed on an Océ Arizona Series printer.
Dominic Fahy, Océ UK Display Graphics Business Group Director, says, âSingularly, they are impressive machines. But together they can help users create new business opportunities for additional revenue and realise cost savings in the products they create every day.
âThere will also be the chance to watch live demonstrations of the Océ ColorWave Poster Printer. This highly productive and cost-effective point-of-purchase (POP) printer changes the way customers create posters and make money from them. They can use it to increase throughput and reduce production costs for quick-turnaround POP materials as well as offload wide format, short-turnaround jobs to a faster, economical digital printer. It enables customers to react faster to competitorsâ offers by printing retail posters in-house.â
The open days are from 9.30am to 5.00pm on 16th and 17th October 2012.
