Logoshack expands portfolio with Fujifilm's Acuity Advance HD flatbed printer

Logoshack has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of an Acuity Advance HD from Fujifilm.  The Acuity Advance HD2565W purchased by Logoshack is a flatbed machine boasting an ideal combination of near photographic print quality and high productivity, whilst also providing a roll-to-roll option.

Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Logoshack is one of the North West’s biggest graphic solutions providers specialising in signage, POS and self-adhesive graphics.  It operates across various sectors ranging from retail to construction and recently made the move to new 10,000 sq. foot premises in time for its upcoming 20th anniversary. The company, which has a history in screenprinting, was quick to embrace digital wide-format printing ten years ago and is continuously assessing the market for state of the art equipment which can help the business grow.

“We consider ourselves a forward-thinking company so we have always been on the lookout for new solutions,” explains managing director Phil Davies. “We regularly attend various exhibitions to see what’s currently available, and we go through a very stringent selection process when looking at new equipment so that we can continue to deliver the high quality our customers expect from us. This time we were particularly looking for a printer that could offer versatility and high quality, to complement the superwide format machine we already have in the pressroom, and after looking at various models we were won over by the Acuity Advance.”

The printer also has a white ink option and the ability to print on a wide range of rigid and flexible materials, like wood, metal and, plastics, as well as clear and coloured products. For Logoshack, it was this level of versatility that made Fujifilm’s Acuity Advance the ideal choice.

“There were a number of the Acuity’s features that particularly caught our eye, especially the roll-to-roll unit and the ability to print directly onto flexible surfaces, such as the self adhesive vinyl we regularly use,” continues Phil. “These features are essential with the types of customers we work with, some of which are high street brands that expect the highest quality service.”

The speed of the machine was also a high priority to Phil: “It is extremely important to us, as much of our work is time critical and we’re printing multiple jobs. With the Acuity Advance I can only say that we are not disappointed.”

However, it is not just the quality of the machine that has impressed Logoshack but also the level of assistance provided by Fujifilm during the course of the installation.

“We’ve been delighted with Fujifilm’s service throughout,” concludes Phil. “From the early stages when we tested the product in the showroom, through to an on-site inspection of our facilities and the final installation of the printer, the service team provided excellent support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fujifilm and I already know where to go in case we ever need to purchase another printer.”
