Gandy Digital to showcase cutting-edge Pred8tor UV flatbed printer at FESPA 2013

Gandy Digital has announced that it will be exhibiting its cutting-edge Pred8tor UV flatbed printer at FESPA 2013 on stand Q40N.

The Pred8tor (1.22m x 2.44m) and its larger brother, the Domin8tor (2m X 3.05m), have fast become the most reliable high definition large format printers in the market today.  With over 50 installations worldwide, the company is excited about bringing its new technology to FESPA.

James Gandy, innovator and founder of Gandy Digital, comments, “In recent years, we have invested substantially in R&D to provide the latest cutting edge technology.  Our printers have been engineered to enable high precision graphics on a large surface without compromising speeds of over 120 square metres per hour.”

The Gandy Digital Pred8tor is a UV flatbed printer with a roll to roll option that achieves the same print quality on all roll materials without compromising true flatbed capability.  It can print rigid material sheets measuring up to 1.22m x 2.44m with a thickness of up to 50mm. 

The Gandy Digital Domin8tor is a true UV flatbed with a large 2m x 3.05m print area that can produce ultra-high resolution photographic quality output.  The Domin8tor can print a 25.4cm-wide swathe using 6-picolitre variable-dot Ricoh heads. 

Print quality and speed on the Domin8tor are driven by the inline Blade head configuration system.  James Gandy explains, "The Blade is the key to our ability of outputting the small text without losing speed â€" not to mention the ease and speed of alignment."
