On the day that marks the two year countdown until Ipex 2014, the Informa Print Group has confirmed that over 50% of the available Ipex 2014 floor space has already been filled with more than 100 exhibitors firmly allocated on the exhibition floor plan at Londonâs ExCeL international exhibition and conference centre.
Major suppliers already confirmed include Duplo, Friedheim/Hunkeler, Fujifilm, Hans Grohni/Printers Superstore, Heidelberg, Konica Minolta, Muller Martini, Pitney Bowes and Xeikon.
âNever before in the history of Ipex have we experienced such high volume of bookings from the top 100 industry suppliers wanting to stake their claim on the 2014 floor plan so early in the cycle,â explains Trevor Crawford, Director of the Informa Print Group. âThis is particularly encouraging given that Ipex will not even officially launch until drupa! The scale of commitment and support truly reflects the enthusiasm weâve encountered since the announcement of the relocation to London.
âOur recent exhibitor tours of the ExCeL, which coincided with other major events taking place at the venue, have also accelerated the booking process enormously. Suppliers are hugely impressed with the state of the art exhibition facilities at the ExCeL and are eager to start their Ipex planning significantly earlier than for previous Ipex editions.â
Ipex 2014 will take place at Londonâs ExCeL international exhibition and conference centre http://www.excel-london.co.uk from 26th March to 2nd April 2014.
David Preskett, President of Ipex 2014, Chairman of the IAC (Ipex Advisory Committee) and European Professional Print Director, Canon Europe says that âIpexâs move to London could not have come at a better time, and the enthusiastic response to the move from the industry reflects that. The quickening pace of innovation across the industry and the changes taking place in the communications landscape make this a natural next step befitting Ipexâs growth and global appeal.â
