Ricoh is the latest company to confirm its attendance at the inaugural EcoPrint Live exhibition in Berlin later this year. Taking place on 26th and 27th September, EcoPrint Live 2012 is the worldâs first event solely dedicated to sustainable print business. In addition to its latest printing technologies, Ricoh will demonstrate its Sustainability Optimisation and Carbon Balanced Printing programmes for the office and commercial printing markets.
Ricoh is recognised around the world as a leader in sustainability. This year it was rated one of the 'Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World' for the eighth time in a row at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Ricohâs presence at EcoPrint Live will be among the largest, with a 100m² space in a prime location at the front of the exhibition and it will also take a seat on the showâs innovators panel.
Marcus Timson, director, EcoPrint, comments âRicoh is a genuine leader in terms of sustainability and we are delighted to have gained its support. As an enlightened brand that demonstrates through action its commitment to sustainable innovation it is ideally positioned to help drive the sustainable print debate forward. And, as the worldâs only exhibition 100 per cent focused on sustainable print, EcoPrint Live 2012 is the perfect platform from which Ricoh can do this.â
Graham Moore, business development director, Ricoh Europe adds, âAt Ricoh, we are focused on reducing our environmental impact and on working in partnership with our customers to reduce theirs, so print service providers can print sustainably for their clients. The services we offer also contribute to resource efficiency and cost savings, adding value to our customersâ bottom line. We are looking forward to being part of EcoPrint Live 2012 and sharing these effective ways and best practices with a committed audience at the event.â
