Prismaflex has supplied and built two LED digital screens on Londonâs M4 elevated section for world-leading out of home media company CBS Outdoor UK.  The SMD (surface-mounted diode) LED screens, produced by Prismaflexâs own Prismatronic Gold series, is a 10mm pitch, the highest resolution created so far for OOH applications.
They have the longest available lifespan, lowest power consumption and highest pixel resolution currently available for this size format. All key components are continuously monitored so that any problems can be identified before affecting the site. The screensâ critical key components are manufactured in Europe to the highest standard.
The M4 elevated section in west London connects Heathrow Airport and the M4 with central London and is the busiest route in Europe. Over the years it has been the setting for numerous innovations in out of home media including the first 96-sheet posters and now state-of-the-art developments in digital billboards. The new CBS sites are the first large landscape screens on this key part of the M4.
Prismaflex UK CEO Sam Cook says, âPrismaflex has 25 years experience in servicing the property industry and major media owners with turnkey solutions. The key to this is working closely with all parties to maximise both property and media assets and having the right product solution for every type of location. This new iconic location will set the gold standard for outdoor in the UK and beyond.â
Jason Cotterrell, Country Director at CBS Outdoor UK comments, "We hope our new Site 76 will be the first of many exciting developments in this area as we look to further bolster our UK portfolio and enhance our extensive digital reach in the capital.  What will set it apart from other roadside screens is the flexibility that we will offer advertisers, who can target travellers at bespoke times with tailored messages appropriate to that time or day, whether they are travelling in or out of London.â
