Quality Print Services Ltd (QPS) will be launching a new printer system at Sign & Digital UK 2013 on stand P150. The new system - branded the RE-640HC - incorporates Nazdar's HydroColor Ink Technology. It combines a state-of-the-art 64†wide piezo ink jet printer, utilising the latest Epson DX7 print head, and aqueous ink which is suitable for both internal and external applications. The RE-640HC offers high resolution production for the output of canvas prints, exhibition graphics, internal décor, photographic images, outdoor graphics, vehicle wraps, wallpapers and much more.
HydroColor inks are zero VOC, environmentally friendly, piezo ink jet inks for indoor and outdoor applications and represent a true alternative to solvent, UV and Latex ink technologies. Nazdar has created an innovative ink, that when printed onto standard outdoor stable media, can be displayed outside without the need for a top coat or lamination. When combined with an environmentally friendly media, print producers can offer ecologically sound products to print buyers and specifiers, who are becoming increasingly conscious of the need for green or recyclable print.
The RE-640HC combined with the HydroColor Ink Technology offers the graphics industry the flexibility on one printer to tackle a variety of production disciplines that would traditionally require a solvent and an aqueous printer to achieve.
