Prize draw winner announced following i-Sub's Open Day event

I-Sub Digital has announced that Sean Fortune, technical director of ADS2 Brands Ltd, was the lucky winner in the prize draw held following the company’s two-day Open House event.  Sean was presented with the set of high end Bowers & Wilkins headphones worth over £250.00 by Emma Plant, sales manager at i-Sub Digital.

ADS2 Brands Ltd develops and produces a wide range of bespoke beer pumps for a number of major brewing companies.  All components of the beer taps are produced at the company’s factory which has a skilled and flexible workforce of approximately 45 employees at any one time.

The printing processes adopted by ADS2 Brands vary depending upon each particular application.  Sean Fortune attended the event to investigate the UV flatbed technologies from Mimaki and to view the laminating solutions and cutting machines on display.

He comments, “We’re currently exploring the possibilities of laying ink down on a variety of different materials and we were interested to see what i-sub had to offer.  By moving to digital printing, we are freeing up more of our time to create and develop bespoke solutions for our customers.  Much of our focus is on fine-tuning the manufacturing process and seeing what we can achieve.”

The two companies have worked together since ADS2 Brands purchased a Mimaki JV33 print and cut solution from i-Sub Digital 2 years ago.  I-Sub has one of the widest selections of printing technologies available in the UK at present â€" including solvent, latex, dye sublimation & UV â€" plus all the relevant supporting finishing equipment and peripherals.  This means it is able to offer a fit-for-purpose solution for any application â€" no matter how diverse.

Sean Fortune says, “We work with i-Sub Digital primarily due to the company’s excellent service levels.  They are also local to us and go out of their way to help us â€" we trust them as a technology partner and their ability to understand our specialist printing requirements.”

The i-Sub open day events took place on the 2nd and 3rd October 2012 and over 40 people visited the company’s Kettering-based headquarters across the 2 days.  Andy Spreag, Director at i-Sub Digital, comments, “The event was very successful and we’ve generated a number of interesting leads and secured a good number of orders as a direct result of the Open Days.”

He continues, “Our clients made investments across the whole range of technologies on show which demonstrates that our knowledge and abilities in such a wide range of technologies are of great value to our clients.  It makes venturing into new markets less of a risk for our customers as they know we are there to advise them on the best solution for their business and to support them going forward.”
