Colourgen has made three key appointments in its hardware and consumables sales divisions. Justin Steers has been appointed Internal Sales Manager overseeing the Internal Sales Team; Tom Owers has been promoted to the newly created position of Internal Business Development Manager; and Lucy Ibbott has joined in the role of Internal Sales and Support Executive.
Prior to joining Colourgen, Justin Steers was with waste and recycling resource management company, SITA where he gained valuable experience in sales support, administration, operational supply chain and financial support functions. In 2010 he was promoted to Back Office Transaction Manager, responsible for a team of 15, providing commercial support for revenue up to £4million a month.
Jeff Biggs, Manager Director of Colourgen says, "We are very pleased to have Justin on board. His commercial, customer service and team building skills will help us to build a dynamic and progressive sales team, which will ensure the company continues to grow and exceed customer expectations in all sales areas. His key responsibilities are to manage our internal sales and customer service team and develop and optimise our customer service processes to enhance the customer experience."
Justin Steers comments, "I am really looking forward to the challenge of working with Colourgen. The company is very well established in its marketplace and I believe I can help deliver further growth by developing new ideas and process that will stand us in good stead for the future."
Colourgen has also promoted Tom Owers to the newly created position of Internal Business Development Manager. Tom joined Colourgen in 2012 as maternity cover in the consumables sales team. He was subsequently offered a full time role as Consumables Sales Executive. His new role takes Tom from dealing exclusively with consumables products to include all hardware and software products.
Jeff Biggs says, "Since joining Colourgen, Tom has quickly built a strong knowledge of the industry. In particular, he has had success in growing Colourgen's media business, while building good business relationships with many of our Channel Partners and end users."
Most recently, Lucy Ibbott has joined the company as an Internal Sales & Support Executive. Lucy is a graduate of Portsmouth University with a BA in marketing and a recent background in business development of IBM software products, license renewals and the supporting administration.
Jeff Biggs concludes, "Lucy`s education and ability to focus on customer care, along with her drive to continually build and maintain honest business relationships, will assist Colourgen`s internal sales department to reach our current growth plans for this financial year."
