APS awarded Gold Distributor status by MACtac

Following a strategic review of its UK distributor base, MACtac has awarded All Print Supplies (APS) Gold Distributor status.  Gold Distributor status means APS will be one of the first to receive new products introduced by MACtac in the UK.  The company will also be provided with samples and literature for new products at the time of launch, offering APS’s customers the opportunity gain a critical competitive edge.

On achieving this status, APS' managing director, Kevin Wallace, comments, “We are excited to have been appointed as a MACTac Gold Distributor in the UK and look forward to working with the company even more closely in the future to ensure all our customers can benefit from this appointment. Gold Distributor status will ensure APS and our customers will be able to purchase MACtac products at a very competitive price, as well as receive staff and customer training, joint sales and technical visits with MACtac staff and part funding for some of APS’s marketing initiatives with full MACtac support. We’ve worked very hard over the years as a national MACtac distributor and are pleased that all these efforts have been recognised by this appointment.”

As part of the evaluation, distributors were comprehensively reviewed to determine their knowledge, strengths, capabilities and ability to serve the different segments of the self-adhesive graphics market and to measure their drive and commitment to the MACtac brand using a list of criteria that included:

• Assessing how the distributor was investing in people and allocating time and money to better serve and grow the self-adhesive business;
• the number of pro-active internal and external product specialists to support the changing demands of graphics customers; and
• how active and successful the distributor was in launching, promoting and stocking the range of new and innovative MACtac products such as wall and street rap or car tuning films
