A comprehensive line-up of Epson large format printers will be on show at DPS Select 2012, co-hosted by Epson UK and specialist large format reseller, Digital Photo Solutions (DPS). Alongside Epson, this year's event will include leading vendors such as Adobe, Wacom, Datacolor, Nemetschek Vectorworks and NEC.
The drop-in open day will take place on Thursday 15th November 2012 at Epson's UK HQ in Hemel Hempstead and will run between 10am and 3.30pm. Photographers, architects, designers, studios, retail photo shops, copy shops, printers and other creative professionals are invited to attend this free of charge event.Â
At the event, visitors will have the chance to view the most comprehensive line up of Epson large format printers (A3+ to 64" wide) anywhere in the UK, ranging from the award-winning Stylus Photo R3000 right up to the 64" wide Epson Stylus Pro 11880 and the new T-series machines. The high quality, yet cost-effective 5 ink T-series printers are ideal for both copy shops and architects and Nemetschek's Vectorworks CAD software will be demonstrated with these new printers to show easy it is to design and print CAD drawings in-house.
With a chance to view the entire Epson large format printer range from the fast 5 colour CAD and poster machines to the photographic 8 colour devices as well as the high end 11 colour proofing systems, there will be something of interest for every CAD, photo & print professional. Visitors will also be able to see, test and try out Epson's Signature Worthy range of media, which form part of the core range of media in the Epson Digigraphie programme.
Adobe will be on hand to demonstrate the benefits of their latest versions of Creative Suite, Lightroom and Acrobat and will articulate the compelling reasons why upgrading to CS6 or Lightroom 4 or Acrobat XI is a must for anyone using previous versions. Complimenting Adobe's software perfectly, Wacom will be demonstrating their latest high-end technology - the Cintiq 24HD Touch - which is already becoming the must-have productivity tool for creative professionals. Also on show will be Datacolor's inexpensive range of colour management tools for monitors and printers which work perfectly alongside NEC's award-winning Spectraview displays, which are ideal for colour critical applications.
Maneesh Patel, Director at DPS, is delighted to be hosting this event. âWe are thrilled to be partnering up with Epson and our key vendors again, following the success of last year's open day event. The informal nature of DPS Select 2012 means visitors can spend more time discussing their needs and any issues with our vendors one to one. Our major objective is to provide a platform for our new and existing creative professional customers to find out more about the latest technologies and software to further enhance their business creativity and workflows."
