Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) attracted more than 30 customers to its series of open day events held between 22nd and 24th May 2012. Attendees to the events were able to view the latest wide format printing solutions. Several orders were taken during the week, with more expected over the coming weeks.
GPT general manager, Stuart Cole, was upbeat after the open days, âWe wanted to give our customers the chance to have a closer look at the new printers that have been launched at the shows this year, especially the new Mimaki JV400 latex. We brought together representatives from Mimaki, Epson, Agfa, Canon, Wasatch and Shiraz to help answer questions and demonstrate the fantastic new technology that is now on offer to them.â
He continues, âOur business is all about delivering the right printing solutions for our customers and this means supplying everything, from the right consultancy, the best products and top notch support, training and consumables supply. We were able to demonstrate this once again at the open days and several customers clearly liked what they saw as they have placed some significant orders with us.â
On display was the new award-winning Mimaki JV-400 160 Latex printer which performed superbly, and the new UJF 3042HG UV cure printer with its ultra wide 150mm (6â) bed depth. GPT also demonstrated the flexibility and capability of its complete low cost dye-sublimation solution with a combination of the Mimaki TPC-1000 and the new Secabo Heat Press range.
As well as Mimakiâs complete range of solvent wide format printers like the CJV30, JV33 & JV5 printer, printer/cutter ranges, GPT also presented UV cure print solutions from Agfa, aqueous printers from Canon and Epson, and RIPâs for Mac and PC from Shiraz, Wasatch, & Onyx.
